Prabmeet S. Sarkaria is the President of the Treasury Board of Ontario and the Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Brampton South. He was also the former Associate Minister of Small Business and Red Tape Reduction and Parliamentary Assistant to the Solicitor General of Ontario. Prior to being elected as the first turban-wearing Sikh Cabinet minister in Ontario, Minister Sarkaria was an associate corporate and commercial lawyer at Miller Thompson LLP and has also worked at TD Securities. He has a law degree from the University of Windsor and completed his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at Wilfrid Laurier University.
